Cookie policy
What cookies and similar technologies our website uses, and how you can control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in comparable ways. They are used to make websites work, to remember choices and to understand how sites are used.
2. How we use them
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, to understand how it is used, and to measure and improve our marketing. This includes Google Analytics and, where we run campaigns, advertising pixels from platforms such as Google and Meta.
3. Types of cookies and similar technologies
- Essential. Needed for the site to load and stay secure. These do not require consent.
- Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that tell us which pages are visited, how long people stay and how they reached the site. The data is aggregated and sent to Google.
- Advertising and measurement pixels. Pixels from advertising platforms, such as Google Ads or Meta, may record visits and actions so that we can measure campaign results and show relevant ads. They may set cookies of their own.
- Third-party content. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and links out to LinkedIn, Instagram and our publisher application site. Those services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking cookies may affect how some sites work. Most browsers also let you browse privately, or send a “do not track” signal, though not every service honours it. If you use a consent banner on our site in future, you will be able to change your choices there at any time.
5. Changes to this policy
If we change the tools we use, we will update this page. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
6. More information
For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy policy. Questions about cookies? Write to info@activeadsnext.com.
